Day 1: Airport – Fes
we shall start this Morocco Grand Tour From Fes by picking you up at the airport to your hotel or Riad for relaxation. however, if you are already in Fes city, we will devote the rest of the day to visiting some interesting places and continue the city visit on the other day. Fez is one of the oldest imperial cities in Moroccan history, founded in the VIIIth century. The medina is known for its craftsmen grouped traditionally in streets. it’s also famous of its brilliant architectures, its fabulous medina and its historical monuments. Fez is in fact is the cultural capital of Morocco.

Day 2 : private Guided tour (city visit)

Day 3: Fes – Erg Chebbi
Morocco Grand tour from Fes leaves Fes and heads to the Sahara desert. So After breakfast in Fes, we will head towards the desert, in our way we will cross a cedar forest, Midelt atlas mountains, Errachidia water dam , the beautiful landscape of the Ziz valley, the city of Erfoud also known as “the gate to the desert” and the origin of high quality of dates fruit and fossils museums. We will see the sunset in the Erg Chebbi desert dunes which offer some great views and landscapes of the sahara sand streched in the area. Afterwards we will drive to the desert camp in Merzouga, where we will spend the night.

Day 4: Erg Chebbi – Desert Journey
After breakfast we will take a look around the dunes. We will visit both Merzouga oasis, the nomads in their traditional tents made of wool , the village of Khamlia (black’s village), Mifiss mines, the desert plateau and Tissardmine oasis. We will be back to our accommodation by 3 o’clock. Later, we shall try one the best souvenirs ever to go with from the Sahara desert which is a Camel Ride in among the sand dunes to see and take some pictures of the charming view of the sunset. we will also spend the night in the oasis two hours from your hotel, in the heart of the dunes. We will enjoy local music there with camp-fire around before sleeping in safe, traditional but equipped nomadic tents. Don’t miss magical night!

Day 5 : Merzouga – Todra gorges – Dades gorges
We will leave the dunes behind and head towards Erfoud in order to get to Tinghir where we will visit the “Fougartas”, an old sewer system of the Xvth century. We will also take a look to the Tinghir palms, after that we will arrive to Todra’s gorges where we will have arest and enjoy the gigantic canion. Then we will walk around the city and the Boumalne Dades valley to get to Dades gorges. There the river has affected the rocks thus, created a beautiful landscape. Supper and bed in a charming five star hotel.

Day 6 : Dades – Boutaghrart – Skoura – Ouarzazate
Our Grand tour is more surprises for us. In the morning, we keep up our journey to the rose valley and the magnificent berber village of Boutghrart where we will have a cap of tea with a local family. We will go on along the thousand Kasbahs route. Along this route we will stop to visit some casbahs, landscapes, valleys, nomads living in traditional life styles… We will arrive to Skoura and then head towards Ait Benhaddou casbah where many movies were filmed (Obelix, Gladiator, Lawrens of Arabia; Sahara…). Dinner and bed in the hotel.

Day 7: Ait Benhaddou – Telouet – Marrakech
We will go to the marvelous kasbah of Ait Behadou where Lawrence of Arabia was filmed among other films and movies. Another interesting destination is Telouet. in the late afternoon we will be driving to Marrakech crossing the pass of Tizi n’Tichka (2260 meters high) with its beautiful landscapes. We will spend the night in a Riad in Marrakech.

Day 8: Marrakech
You can’t leave Morocco without visiting Marrakech; it’s a word tourist destination in Morocco.We will walk around Marrakech with its main historical monuments, the ancient medina, tombs and mosques, the kasbahs or the famous square of Jemaa El Fna. We will understand why it is called the tourist capital in Morocco. You can also go for a private guided tour in the cith with and an official tour guide for more insightful information. We will spend the night at the same Riad or Hotel.

Day 9: Marrakech – Essaouira
This is a day trip from Marrakech to Essaouira in a 2 hours and a half driving. There we will pay a visit to the the wooden crafts museum, located in an ancient palace. There is a sentry tower and the anciant harbor of Skala. From this harbor we will gaze into the coast, the isles and the city. The Marina’s gate is used to merge the city and the harbor, and there are many products to buy. The narrow streets of the medina show a lot of craftsmen working on jewels, wood… They are installed below the bastions of the city. In the upper side, there are some Spanish cannons from the XVI and XVII centuries. Finnaly we get back to Marrakech to spend the night in the same riad as the two previous nights.

Day 10: Marrakech – Casablanca
We will depart from Marrakech towards Casablanca. We will visit the Hassan II mosque, the medina and some other modern casual parts of the city. We will spend the night in a hotel in Casablanca.

Day 11: Casablanca – Rabat – Meknes
After breakfast we will depart towards Rabat with a short visit to some historical monuments before heading to Meknes. The city of Meknes reached its golden age thanks to the sultan Mulay Ismail with his EL Mansour gigantic gate. There is a roman city, known as Volubilis, 27 kms from Meknes. We will walk around the roman city, after the visit we will arrive to Meknes. There we will take a walk around the city, we will go to Moulay Ismail tomb, El Hedime square and Bab Mansour. We will spend the night in a hotel..

Day 12: Meknes – Fes
We will drive to Fes where we have started this “Morocco Grand tour from Fes” and pick you up to the the airport.
